SOME FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS WHICH OUR COUNTRY IS FACING(?)

India is a country having more than 50 percent population living below poverty line or just above to it. This huge population of poor face multifaceted challenges on their social, economic, and cultural front of life. Since independece we have tried to solve this problem through various poverty alleviation and employment generation schemes. But it is very strange and undigestable to know that inspite all these continuous and consistent efforts on government front, Tendulakar committee estimate nearly 40 crore population is still strugling for their basic need;like food, education and helth. This pathetic situation raises question in mind whether this is because wrong kind of policy formulation by the government? If so, then this process started since very begining of independent India or we have loosed the path of right policies somewhere in recent decades of 80's and 90's? And if policies are not responsible at all and problem is somewhere in policy implementation then why we are not able to implement the policies? Is it because of administrative setup or because of people who are in administarion? And if again problem is not in administarion at all and it is because of political set up of country and politicians? Which kind of reform could be done to make political system and politicians accountable? And further if problem is not any where in above mentioned factors and root of all causes is value system of society which is derived from our social, cultural and religious institutions in which we believe then why inspite of knowing their ill impacts on society we were not able to change these institutions?

These are the some big questions which we have answer, our leaders have to answer, administrators have to answer, policy makers have answer, and above all society and country have to answer. Let us start a process of discussion(Bahas)with open mind to search the answers of these questions so that we can establish the truth(Satya).
